America Movil to launch Apple iPhone 3G in 10 new countries this month
Wednesday, August 06, 2008 - 11:32 AM EST"Mexico's America Movil, Latin America's largest mobile operator, said Wednesday that it plans to launch the iPhone 3G in 10 more countries in the region at the end of the month," Ken Parks reports for Dow Jones Newswires.
"In a press release, the company said the iPhone 3G will be available in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay on Aug. 22," Parks reports. "America Movil became the first carrier to offer the iPhone 3G, made by computer and multimedia firm Apple Inc., in Latin America when it launched the handset in Mexico last month."
"America Movil reported 165.3 million wireless subscribers in 17 countries at the end of June2," Parks reports.

I live in the UK, and I tried an iPhone for the first time today, in an Apple Store.
I though they'd be slightly bigger. It's a great machine! Wish I could have taken one home with me

Smaller than I thought
I didn't do well with the on-screen keyboard, while using Safari & youtube. My fingers seem to be to wide
