Apple CEO Steve Jobs to speak at Wall Street Journal’s ‘D3: All Things Digital’ conference next week

Apple CEO Steve Jobs will speak at the Wall Street Journal’s “D3: All Things Digital” conference which takes place next week, May 22nd to 24th including an “Opening Dinner and Interview with Steve Jobs” on Sunday, May 22 at 7:00pm PDT. D3 will be held at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara, just 30 minutes north of San Diego

We assemble a roster of the most eminent, successful and deep-thinking people we can find, and we tailor the contents to their strengths. What’s more, at D, you don’t get talking heads on stage giving you the same canned presentation you can hear at any other show. In other words, we find the best people and bring them to you in an unvarnished style you cannot find elsewhere.

Other, more minor, luminaries scheduled to speak at the conference include: Mel Karmazin, CEO of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Scott McNealy, Chairman and CEO of Sun Microsystems, Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft, and Paul Ottelini, President and CEO-designate of Intel, among others.

  1. How many of you are going to go to WWDC?

    I am!

    Tell me if You are!

We could see there in the Moscone Center and We could have my famous Longhorn BBQ there at San Francisco!

    Cheers!

  2. One Guy,

Wouldn’t you rather just drown in a pool of your own sick than have to hang out and pal around with a bunch of MDN-reading dorks at WWDC? I know I would. Well maybe not actually drown, but maybe sputter in panic a little. Anyway, I’ll probably see you guys there. But I’ll be pretending I’m somewhere else. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

  3. Other, more minor, luminaries scheduled to speak at the conference include: …, Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft…, among others.

    Ha! I love it!

  4. I’ll be there too. Can’t wait.

Last year was awesome, and sitting a few feet away from Steve Jobs is an amazing experience.

Plus, the stuff you get for free is amazing.

  5. Bill Gates has announced his planned guest appearance at the annual “World’s Most Fantastical Developments Conference” held at the People’s Grand Temple of Benevolent Social Utopia Hotel along the sunny seaside beaches of Najin, North Korea. Rumors include Gates receiving the distinguished Indiscernible Trophy for Microsoft’s brilliant advances in computer operating systems development.

  6. uh oh.. gates is on the cover of Time looking weird as usual…

can someone confirm whether or not MS will be humping apple’s leg to get iPod support on that thing? It’s being published in TIME for chrissakes.. can someone get a confirm? This would be a proverbial white towel for MS..

Me like Steve and Me want to marrie Jonathan ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” /> (Ive if somebody does not know who Jonathan is)

(I have to print that on t-shirt)

We will have a heavy Longhorn BBQ there!

  8. Yeah, Gates is on the cover of Time again, but Jobs was on the cover of Newsweek with the iPod.

The difference? With the iPod, it was already a huge success. With the XBox 360, the stupid thing hasn’t even come out yet.

  9. …and its already surpassed by the next Sony Playstation which Cell processor is twice as fast as the xBox.

Looks like Gates’ xBox wasn’t the best for very long!!!!

  10. Remember what happened at this event last year?
The airport express was released there!!!

    Hmmm.

I wonder if there could be an improved airport extreme released this time?

    Mk II ???
