Apple gets ‘Cyber Monday’ boost as Deutsche Bank sees strong demand for Macs, iPods, iPhones
Monday, November 26, 2007 - 10:48 AM EST

"Tech stocks opened to relatively modest gains Monday morning," Dan Gallagher reports for MarketWatch.

"The gains came on the kickoff of so-called 'Cyber Monday,' during which consumers are expected to shop on the Web en masse in a hunt for deals after hitting traditional retail stores over the weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday," Gallagher reports.

"Strong turnout among traditional retailers helped boost the overall market early Monday, offsetting continued worries about the global credit crunch," Gallagher reports.

"Apple Inc. (AAPL: $175.69, +$4.15, +2.4%) was trading up 2% after the opening bell. A report from Deutsche Bank noted strong demand for the company's iPods, iPhones and Mac computers over the shopping weekend," Gallagher reports.

MarketWatch is the worst bunch of clueless wipes on the internet, next to the famously dumbass 'Reg'. Right up thar then come the 'Clueless Finn' Tero Kuittinen, who in my estimation is the village idiot of the internet.

This is twice now that that annoying flashing add has auto-scrolled Safari to the bottom of the page. This is a good way to lose viewers!
