Looking forward to visiting the store and maybe picking up some goodies when we are in my hometown over the holidays.

Apple only has resellers here in Stockholm, no stores of their own. The 25% VAT is also a bummer. Better to buy in the US when possible.

that's a lot of stores for one town...we don't even have one store

Nov 12, 08 - 12:33 pm Comment from: gow

...and not a single store in North Dakota. :-(

@whoitis

Truly amazing when you think about it. Didn't have any when I was there in August. Must be one on every corner now.

I will be there in support of their 250th! Pretty excited.

An Apple store in Modesto? Kinda like a Victoria's Secret in Kabul, or an Eddie Bauer in Cuba. Good luck with that.

I'll be there ready for my free Apple Store shirt! In the past, the grab bags for the first 100 have even more goodies.

Jerad, we should meet up!

Next up, an Apple Store in Tracy......

Modesto. Huh.

Is Ripon next? How about a store in downtown Philadelphia.

Tracy will never get an Apple Store, ericdano. Too small and too close to Modesto or Stoneridge. *Maybe* a Apple Store mini like in San Jose's Oakridge Mall, but not a full blown store.

I would say the Central Valley's next one will be at the stalled mall in Elk Grove that ramps back up next year. Fits the profile of outside malls perfectly for Apple and it would draw from as far south as Stockton to parts of South Sacramento. Plus, it's to be the largest mall in California. Apple would be silly to not be there.
