This is not good news. Apple should have postponed this until Russia withdraws completely from Georgia.

nice job Apple! Now the Russian military has a pocket computer, GPS, and phone all in one... Now they can pinpoint where those Georgians are & send it to their comrades now that MTS illegally comandeered the Georgian cell phone network according to WSJ... (if it were in a rag like NYT I would simply dicount it as wrong but it was WSJ)

To those who were brainwashed by "democratic", "liberal", "free" media:

1) Georgia's "young democracy" grew its military budget $1 billion, bought through Mr.Bush's administration mountains of weapons, attacked South Ossetia, breaking 1992 peace agreement.

Now, how is that Russia is the guilty here? Russia's troops in Georgia are legal as the country is mandated guarantor of peace and of course they had to suppress "democratic" aggression.

According to Mr.Bush, "Democracy" is bombs for sleeping Tskhinvali, city of South-Ossetia. USA's citizen who was there at the time of Georgia's invasion said Mr.Bush should resign and compared his "ally" Georgia's actions' to Saddam Hussein's.

2) Russia's military does not need GPS phones since it operates the only other (beyond GPS) acting global positioning system, its own.
