@ jocknerd,

Is this the one you were waiting for?

Mar 03, 09 - 01:03 pm Comment from: jarrettdailynews

First post, you MACtards!!!!

Mar 03, 09 - 01:03 pm Comment from: jocknerd

Yep, this is it! Yeah!

Thanks for remembering, jarrettdailynews, whoever you are.

Mar 03, 09 - 01:04 pm Comment from: jocknerd

You sure are a cocky bastard, jarrettdailynews. Or should I just call you Jarrett from those Subway commercials?

Mar 03, 09 - 01:07 pm Comment from: jarrettdailynews

Actually, that would be Jared ( from subway).

Not meaning to be cocky, but what is it that you "need" for a machine from Apple?

Mar 03, 09 - 01:09 pm Comment from: jarrettdailynews

I love how individuals, or a small group feel like a corporation owes them something different. Trust me if it were profitable Apple would probably have 1,000 different machines. Profits before patrons. That is the saying, and the reason I will never run any type of business.

It never fails. Three weeks ago I bought a 15" MacBook Pro. I should have told you all this was coming.

Mar 03, 09 - 01:40 pm Comment from: jarrettdailynews

I knew that my very next hand dealt was going to be blackjack, I still only bet $5, I knew I should have bet $100

Mar 03, 09 - 01:42 pm Comment from: John Gee

I will own this computer in 2 weeks. I am happy about that.

I am upgrading from a 2001 iBook DV+ Graphite. I'm overdue. wink

Mar 03, 09 - 01:46 pm Comment from: @Mac User

Don't you have 30 days to return it? You could buy the new one, transfer all data between them in a couple of hours, then return the old one and get your money back.

If you bought within two weeks prior to the update you can exchange it.

Mar 03, 09 - 01:59 pm Comment from: silverhawk

@Mac User
Either way you have a fantastic computer. May you enjoy the new one for eight years.

Mar 03, 09 - 02:53 pm Comment from: Lurker_PC

Hmm... I wouldn't want a LARGER SSD - the enclosure space is already very tight. Instead I would welcome a higher capacity SSD.

Mar 03, 09 - 03:05 pm Comment from: jarrettdailynews

That was funny LPC. Careful, your humor will piss someone off.

Mar 03, 09 - 03:37 pm Comment from: Lurker_PC

Thanks jarrettdailynews. I have to give you credit for recognizing humor when you see it. It seems some people around here think Zune Tang's posts are serious.

Peace.

Still no matte screen option?
tsk, tsk...

Mar 03, 09 - 04:27 pm Comment from: qka

Or should I just call you Jarrett from those Subway commercials?

He's probably Jarrett from before the Subway commercials.

Mar 03, 09 - 05:08 pm Comment from: Kenny

@ qka
I'm not from the U.S.A., but the wiki-article on South Park episode "Jared has Aides" thaught me that your joke was funny. Rock on smile

Mar 04, 09 - 07:35 am Comment from: Robby

I want and will wait until:

8GB RAM
Blue-Ray-Writer Drive

Mar 04, 09 - 01:26 pm Comment from: NCIceman

Hmm, been waiting for a MBP update to upgrade, this might be it...

Mar 04, 09 - 02:28 pm Comment from: MacNastyGirl

17" MacBook Pro has a matte screen option and the 15" doesn't?

Like we don't watch movies on a 15" screen?

Mar 04, 09 - 04:23 pm Comment from: cw

Not to say anything against Apple--- this is really Intel, I'm talk'n about....but what's the deal???
3 Ghz was on PCs YEARS ago. How many years ago did you see 3.5 processors, and more? What the hell is the problem? where is the 10 Ghz, 110 Ghz, 500 hz, and of course the 1,000 Ghz processor???
