To get a glimpse of what's been on our collective consciousness, we mined billions of search queries to discover what sorts of things rose to the top," says Google's 2007 Year-End Zeitgeist report.

Something very wrong here.

Vista isn't in the fastest falling category..

Must have been a glitch.

And iTunes outpaced bittorrent and limewire.

Since the writers are still on strike, here's a reality show plot line the TV execs can use from the list of top TV show searches:

Our heroes lost their house for 24 bones. Meanwhile in Jericho, Reba scrubs her Greek caveman.

(They've done worse.)

anna nicole smith? WTF

peaPod,
I agree. I am flabbergasted that Anna Nicole Smith made the list but the World Trade Federation did not.

The outrage!

"anna nicole smith? WTF"

I've heard that she's lost a LOT of weight. You probably wouldn't recognize her.
I guess those diet pills do work.

Dec 14, 07 - 01:17 pm Comment from: Ampar

P.S. I'm sure TMZ is working on getting footage of her latest weight loss triumph. Anything for a story.

Uh, Google, Where is the Zune 2.0.
Shepherd jobs has you guys so blind, so pwned, you neglected the biggest release of the year.

Ampar, I don't know how you avoided hearing about Anna Nicole's death, but I envy you for somehow missing that entire week of non-stop media coverage.

I have my head up my butt. Posting idiot comments on a Mac fan site.

durrr

UltraVisitor: I think you missed the macabre humor I intended. As in, I'm sure John Belushi is skinnier than ever. And Orson Welles, Marlon Brando, John Candy, Chris Farley . . . etc.
There is one true sure-fire diet.

Ampar... you're killing me. I just choked on a burrito reading that last post - lol.

"Ampar... you're killing me."

Just trying to help you lose weight too.
