Good to hear. Now I can install that Windows 7 Ultimate that's been sitting on the shelf for 2 months. But then I have to think of what to use it for...

My Boot Camp feels Booty-er!

Holy crap, I downloaded this, and poked around in the Resources folder, and found all kinds of PNG images and property list files that point to Boot Camp running on the tablet. It also installs private frameworks that emulate Windows APIs and maps stylus events to Windows mouse events. I can say this much definitively from the resources: this bitch is going to run Windows natively in a sandbox.

Can't wait until Jan 27.

I thought this was the big announcement for the 27th.

What a letdown.

Switch and forever hold your peace or if you'd rather - your piece.

Only 19 days late! smile That seems appropriate for a Mac feature that supports Windows.

Perhaps the tablet will be called Codpiece.

But – but – you can play SOLITAIRE in Windows!

Windows is GREAT for one thing... and only one thing. And it's the reason why all of my Mac's have Windows (XP) installed on them, yes, every single one of them (4).

Gaming. The Mac STILL SUCKS for gaming. Not that this is ENTIRELY Apple's fault, but it is still my biggest problem with the whole OS X platform. It's just a pain to explain to my 7 year old why he gets to use OS X for iTunes/iPhoto/iMovie/Safari, but then he always has to reboot to go play games. It's just lame, and ALMOST enough to justify just using Windows 7 (ok, not really).

And don't suggest VMWare/Parallels/etc because I recently tried them (the most recent versions), and it is not stable enough or fast enough for all the games that we play.
