Apple releases Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.1

Apple has released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.1 which extends RAW file compatibility for Aperture 2 and iPhoto ’08 for the following cameras:

• Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/Kiss Digital x2/450D
• Epson R-D1
• Leaf AFi 7
• Leaf AFi 6
• Leaf AFi 5
• Pentax K200D
• Pentax K20D

Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.1 is availbale via Software Update and also as a standalone installer.

I doubt Apple will have Sigma support, since Sigma doesn't publish its RAW spec. That's why you don't see ACR support.

Canon Digital Rebel XSi - wow, that was fast. Excellent camera released just one month ago. I planned on buying it but Canon dropped the price on 40D so I will get it instead. But XSi comes really darn close - consider it is you are in the market for digital SLR,
