What dontcha like about it Spark? I think the fullscreen editing and some of the touch up features are great. Sort of closes the gap to Aperture

It took about 5 years worth of photos and created Events on its own. Most of them are way of the mark. Cleaning up the Events groupings was a huge chore; one that I'm not convinced will repay my effort. Software should save me effort, not create more. To be fair, I've not gotten past the hassle of cleaning up the mess it created of my photo files to even try out other new features.

Events is a great feature.
Much better way to organize 5 years of photographs than the old way.

It may have been a pain to rework the groupings but ow can that not pay off 5 more years from now?

...they fixed the reflections in Events.

I really enjoy Events but wish that other applications would recognize them instead of the photo Albums. For instance, iTunes only recognizes Albums when you want to import your photos onto your iPhone. I might be missing something, but otherwise I really find Events useful and efficient.

Duder, you are missing something. All my Events are on my iPhone. Check your settings.

how did you get that to work? I don't see events on my iPhone. Let me know.....

I'm loving Leopard. It's not just the new features but many refinements to an already good OS. However, I'm disappointed at what happened in this iPhoto upgrade. After Software Update was finished, I went to the iPhoto icon and did a "Get Info" on it and the version still says 7.1! The date modified is today. Then, on a hunch, I relaunched Finder and now the version is correct.

Come on Apple! You are known for your attention to details! Updating software should yield the correct version without needing to restart the Finder. I might expect this behavior in 10.1, but certainly not 10.5!!!

@Crabby

Did you try launching the new iPhoto before checking the version? That might've done it.
