Apple releases Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 3

Apple today released Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 3 which delivers improvements to the security and compatibility of Java on Mac OS X 10.5.6 and later.

Is Java really used in Mac software that much? The only thing I have that uses Java is Azureus.

I use it every day at work to develop server-side enterprise web applications. Yes Java. Yes Mac. Absolutely great development platform. We even deploy some things onto Xserves.
