Here's hoping this finally fixes the bug where encoded movies with AAC passthru had their surround channels in the wrong order

I just tried updating to 7.6 and was unable to.......

The following message comes up....

The update "QuickTime" can't be saved.

Connection reset by peer

The Installer package has been moved to the Trash.
To try again, open the package from the Finder.

I have never had any issue before when trying to update from Software Update...............

Oh, great another reboot. 11 days uptime - that's a recent high - Apple is really slipping on getting a new update out every 4 or 5 days or so.

Why can't we get back to the days of 10.4 when updates where a couple months apart?

STFU! If you don't want to update, you don't have to. Go back to your PC.

Does quick time uses the graphics card for encoding? I fell like my Core2Duo encodes as the same speed as my old g4 iMac. There has to be some multicore or graphic aid optimization in the encoding software.

And the standalone installers? I have 4 computers, 2 with Leopard, would take forever to use software update for each one. C'mon MDN, where are the links?

Jan 21, 09 - 06:00 pm Comment from: Re: neomonkey

Why don't you quit whining and search for the links yourself you lazy POS

Here comes iLife 09, there's always a QT update before most Apple software is released.
