Apple had consistently been releasing beta versions to developers at two-week intervals

uh, if a first developmental release is alpha, the second is beta

what is release four, five and six? still beta's?

Shouldn't it be charlie, delta and echo?

can only count to two?

Alpha and Beta are stages of development, not individual releases.

If you need help getting your UDID activated on a developers account i found the website that i linked to my name above actually found them in facebook, just click on my name to go there. They had me up and running in no time and i now have complete access to their Apple developers account with my own user ID and password. It was worth it, just my 2 cents for anyone who is in the same boat i was.

I'm always a bit amazed at the folks who will vigorously defend poor spelling on the internet.

I can understand *accepting* it as a fact of life, and only pointing it out when necessary... but I sure can't understand *defending* it so strongly.

But then, I can't understand people who are proud of their ignorance either, so maybe it's just me...

No, it's not just you... the sad fact is that the world is completely overrun by morons. I'm not sure if there are more of them then their used to be, or if it only seems that way since the internet gave them all a platform to spew their idiocy. I am also unsure as to whether or not they are proud, or just too stupid to understand how stupid they are.

One thing I am certain of is that in the event that elections were held to determine their leader, 'Macentosh Guy' would have a great platform with his completely absurd suggestion that Apple would ever even contemplate selling porn on iTunes.

you sir are wrong. There are tens of billions of dollars awaiting Apple's coffers the minute they put porn on iTunes. It is fact that sooner or later, Apple will revolutionize porn the way they did with music. That is fact.
