Shares of Apple Inc. [AAPL] today gained $1.6799, or 1.27%, to set a new all-time closing high of $134.0699 per share on volume of 25,052,609.
Apple’s previous 52-Week and All-Time High closing high was $132.39 set yesterday. AAPL’s all-time intraday high was set July 10, 2007 at $134.50.
Apple’s 52 Week Low stands at $50.16, set on July 14, 2006.
Apple’s market value currently stands at $115,963,491,865.20.

Seems that others have mentioned that all the ringtones are too quiet, except for the “Old Phone” one. If that one’s loud enough, then why recall the phones when a software update with new ringtones could fix the problem. Besides, I bet more ringtone options are coming sooner rather than later.

The only problem seems to be AT&T service issues due to large numbers of new subscribers.

(1) Regarding the supposed “software update” – first of all, Apple doesn’t even acknowlege that this “revolutionary phone” has volume issues, or now battery bugs that are being reported. The proof is in the pudding, and there is no update you tools!
(2) Add in the cost of the phone, remove any corporate discounts, and expand over 2 years and you are paying over 2 grand.

I’m a little tired of the complaining about having to pay for a 2 year contract. Find me a smartphone you can use on anyone’s network that won’t cost you $60/mo. without a 2 year commitment. If you get a shorter term, you pay more per month or pay more for the phone.
A mobile phone is useless w/o the carrier. All the carriers basically charge the same, with small variations. You want a mobile phone, you’re gonna pay per month to have one.
AT&T’s plans are actually quite reasonable considering you get unlimited internet/data services.

Friends and family that I talk to about AAPL think I’m crazy about investing so much in Apple. This has been so for years. I tell them to Google a 5 year chart for AAPL and then they don’t raise the issue anymore. There are always issues, many pure FUD and some with elements of truth, but in the end, Apple works out the problems and succeeds.
I put my money where my mind says it will pay off and I am now into seven figures — dollars. The future looks fabulous.
For too long I took the counsel of my own fears and played it safe, only to see the bulk of the meager gains in mutual funds skimmed by corrupt Wall Street firms with their “fees”. No more. I do my research for hours per day and can find nothing close to the quality of AAPL as an investment.
We will see how it works out in two to three years. My bet is on the table.
