Through its program syndication unit, it is also selling subscriptions to listeners who want to download archived talk shows from Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and others,” Frank Barnako reports for MarketWatch. “‘If we take your best pieces of programming, brand them and put them out there, we’re going to grow our audience,’ Evan Harrison, Clear Channel’s head of online music and radio, told the Wall Street Journal.”

  1. If they think they will grow their audience by having the audience listen to the idiots like Limbaugh and others, then either they are idiots (they are), or they think their listeners are idiots (ok, yeah, they are too), and they think everyone else in the US is an idiot… ummm… ok, yeah, I guess this will work.

Especially when 20 million get Rush for free.

Satellite radio is like debit cards—one of the biggest scams ever.

  4. Figure it out—-

    Satellite Radio—You pay.

I have over 4000 tunes on my iPod which plugs into my car radio. Why would I pay for radio?

Credit cards—-I have 4 credit cards from the same company, Each one pays me $300 per year back. I use them in rotation every 4 months. I charge everything and I use their money for a month and NEVER pay any interest. Plus I get $1200 back every year.

Debit cards—-The money is taken out of your bank account immediately so you get NO interest. Duh!

  5. Let me get this straight. They are make free shows available for download if you pay for a subscription? Where do I sign up?

Do they think we are all idiots? How did the entertainment industry become so stupid?
