Apple’s Macbook Air sales soar

It seems the lightweight 'road warrior' laptop has been flying off the shelves at a rate that Apple cannot keep up with," Andrew Buck reports for Crain's New York Business."According to interviews with New York-area Apple stores, the company’s new Air has been sold out every day since its inaugural flight January 29. Although Apple has increased store orders, it cannot keep up with demand. Apple’s online store at Apple.com is quoting a five to seven business days before the hot product becomes available," Buck reports.
"New York isn’t the only city that is out of Air. Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Boston have been having problems keeping up with demand," Buck reports.
