  1. This with verizon and wallmart and target and bestbuy increases retail outlets to 9300 not including apple stores. At 30 a day multiplied by 45 days of holiday selling gives over 13 million in sales. Add applestores you have 17 million in sales. Ubiquity, finally apple is ready to rumble. Ubiquity of competitor nearly killed them. Now MSFT will taste the bitterness of being on the wrong side this time around.

  3. I think I’m going to wait till March or April. I figure a new IPad 2 gen will be out by then and there will a glut of used Ipads will be available for $175 for the 8 gig no wifi model up to -$400 for the 3G higher end version. It’s really OK to be one or two generations behind on this stuff. Much less expensive……

  5. The iPad is Apple’s stealth nuclear option and the PC makers don’t even realize it yet. The fact that the Mac keeps having one record quarter after another should have PC makers worried. The astonishing fact that the iPad will start outselling the Mac in less than a year should have them terrified.

The iPad is what the Mac should have been.

  7. I just sold my iPod Touch on amazon, and upgraded by buying the new iPod Touch with facetime – arriving today by UPS.

When the new iPad comes (with facetime/retina, next year?) I will do the same thing.

OK, so I lose a small amount of money. In the meantime, it’s all about quality of life. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

  9. Uh oh ATT – the thrill is gone – officially. 🙁

Apple stated in regards to working with Verizon, “We’re thrilled to be working with Verizon Wireless to get iPad into the hands of even more customers this holiday season,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s COO, in the press release.”

I read, re-read, and then re-read this ATT article again, and no where does it say that Apple is “thrilled”. I honestly cannot remember Apple doing anything where they weren’t “Thrilled”.

ATT to Apple – You Lost That Loving Feeling

    Peace.
