AT&T offers limited amount of refurb 8GB Apple iPhones for $99
Monday, December 29, 2008 - 08:30 AM EDT "The $99 iPhone exists, though not in the mythical, miniature form the world might have fantasized about instead of sugar plums this Christmas. AT&T has lowered the price of its refurbished iPhones until the end of the year (December 31, for those keeping track) or until stock runs out, whichever comes first. The price has dropped by another $50, making the 8GB model a mere $99 and the 16GB models $199 (black and white)," Jacqui Cheng reports for Ars Techinica."These prices still require you to sign up for a new two-year contract with AT&T," Cheng reports.

That's great and all, but I would rather Apple and ATnT raise the price by $100 and throw up a tower or two in my area so that I could partake.
I love my touch, but every time I leave the comfy confines of my office or home, I'm reminded of the limits of wi-fi.
Please, oh please, invest more in your infrastructure!!!!!!!!
