Sorry, but the Edge network the iPhone uses is quite frankly the weakest link BY FAR of the iPhone. The rest is pretty solid in fact.

While the Northwest has IMPROVED coverage, they're still missing a state entirely lacking ANY service!

Now if AT&T;will buy Primus Canada, the other GSM phone provider in Canada, they could have 93% of the Canadian market available to iPhone.

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, AT&T;'s coverage is inexcusably spotty. There may be more "dead spots" than there are subscribers! Any improvement would certainly be appreciated. What's an iPhone user to do?

Word up idiots. I live in the NW and have Edge Wireless. I've been waiting for this... and an iPhone. I've used an iPhone up here. It works fine and I imagine it will only get better. Competition for interent access is huge here in rural America. If you telework, you might consider moving.
