Aside from many PC games which in large part was addressed by the release of Steam for Mac, AutoCAD was regarded as the last major software holdout that it was said, “will never be made for the Mac” because it didn’t have enough users to justify its “port.”

Now, if they’d only made the AutoCad Ligth for the Mac, I’d buy me a copy. 4 grand is a bit stiff for what I’d use it for.

About bloody time. I wish they had a ‘Lite’ version though. A non-professional just can’t afford it. Back when I was doing this for a living, I wouldn’t have hesitated.

I’m really glad they finally brought AutoCAD to the mac. I wonder if they’ll bring 3ds max to the mac now. There’s probably a bigger market for 3ds than autocad on the mac platform.
