“The unpacking of Apple’s new iPod shuffle, taken like 40 minutes after the UPS dude left,” writes “nathan” over on Flickr.com.
Apple began shipping the world’s smallest digital music player earlier this week.
Without further ado, the photos are here.
Please be gentle, I’m small and cute

Tomorrow at ten.
Ahh… The unpacking photos ritual, a uniquely Apple tradition.
I like the old shuffle because it has no need for a miniscule dock. I just ordered a refurbished 1GB “pack of gum” shuffle for $59, before they are all gone. But these new ones are pretty slick…
they look like the ‘old’ style of headphones, though.
Looks like the only reason the box had to be that size was so that they could fit the Apple stickers inside…
You wonder why people post their tracking numbers online via images.
Hmmm…. that is a bit frightening…. and stupid.
Better close up photos at Railhead.

This will make for some great Christmas gifts.

Got mine (2) this morning–my nieces will enjoy the holidays!
What a Geek! Taking pictures of the unpacking process? Come on! <sarcasm>
Honest truth is that I did not know about this “ritual” when I got my first Apple product (a PowerMac in 10/2004) and did the exact same thing! My wife and I have taken pictures unpacking ALL of our Apple products – iPods and Macbooks.
Peace.
