Putting aside the fact that almost every reviewer worth his salt has stated the iPhone lives up the hype, I think the "Clapper" was hyped more. Now, may the most talked about gadget.... yeah, that's the ticket!

I fail to see how relevant this article is anyway. I just don't think Steve jobs is that bothered where he comes in the billionaire hit parade. He has said on occasion that his motivation is to make great products and that is exactly what Apple do. Pixar also make great animated feature films.

Of course Jobs enjoys having money. It allows him to do what he wants to do outside of work but just accumulating wealth. What's the point beyond having more than any one person needs anyway?

If I had the money the top three have I don't think I could blindly just hold on to it all when I could help realise important improvements to medical science or the way it could help a third world countries education and agriculture. I couldn't just let it sit all useless in my bank account.

I am sure SJ gives plenty away to charity from the interest he makes on his coffers. Only difference is he doesn't make a big issue about his charitable concerns.

Yeah, but when you hire a five dollar hooker with that name you get what you pay for.

True they didn't give Mr. Jobs the glowing cover as say Bill Gates. (Blaming Yahoo for poor MS stock performance instead of putting it where it belongs - on the front door at MS)

But I have to say. Bill - dude, who the fsck cuts your hair. All that money and you still go to Super Cuts or Hair Cuts For a Dollar. That is just pathetic. Your lack of personal panache is shown through in your company. Not to mention that that the fact the you are leaving the company you created shows how little you really care about what you have done and it's product. It was always all about the money and it shows. Good riddance.

I can't speak for the Mexican at #2 but Gates and Buffett do give away shit loads of money to cheritable causes. I'm no Bill or Microsoft fan but he has been pretty generous with his money. Granted, he has alot to be generous with. Also realize that these figures aren't their liquid wealth. They don't have all this money just sitting in ther personal checking accounts. Most is in their stocks, etc.. If Gates were to try to liquidate his assets and give it away all at once that would be a tough thing if not impossible thing to do.

If all these Billionaires had balls they would come together and try and save this countries Heath Care, Education System, invest billions into alternative energy (Not nuclear or Clean Coal Technology) and over all economy. I feel sorry for the people in Africa but if I were Bill Gates I would have chose to save the people of the US. When a family member is sick you don't help your neighbor first.

Bill isn't concerned with saving people on any continent. He's a despicable individual. Ask Bill or Melinda why the Gates Foundation has hundreds of millions invested in oil. They personally make all of the decisions and could easily divest but they won't. His focus has always been on power and money and convincing people that he's always right.
