The last time I checked, this was called fraud. Aren't they lying to their stock holders and isn't MS breaking some laws? This needs to be investigated.

MS is not going to be investigated again.We have gotten past that, Thanks Clinton. People are going to see through it though. IT people are on top of this kind of news.

The last thing we want M$ to do is start from scratch. If their code baseline is crap then they will continue the downward spiral into the toilet. M$ did buy a company that should send shivers and that is Novel. Recall tat Novel owns Suse Linux - if M$ scrapped windows and turned to Linux which is a possibility they would leverage allot of excellent code.

Recall apple did the same with BSD. So its not beyond possibility and as we all know they use apple as springboard for new ideas...

@t -- What are you talking about? MS did not buy Novell. They did some patent cross-licensing and made a number of collaboration and interoperability agreements.

I have over 20 years experience in IT, and though I semi-retired a couple years ago, the economies slowdown has forced me to pursue more IT centric work lately. I have actually received a few calls from recruiters seeking IT people with my high qualifications and at least 2 years of Mac experience (I have over 3 with OS X, as I do no count my experience with Macs in the late '80s through the mid '90s anymore at all). Unfortunately, none of these opportunities were sufficient to make me move, nor located near me here in Atlanta. Just as well anyhow, it's looking like we're moving to Manhattan in a couple months anyhow.

I didn't know Vista was in fact XP in disguise.

It was right after Clinton left office and the Bush Administration took over the DOJ that investigations into Microsoft were dropped.

Bottom line...

MS did sale tens of millions of copies of Vista.

Microsoft should just rename XP ... to Vista! That's the only way to justify the development dollars lost down the drain. Change a word, pretend everything is all right, and move on to the next thing. Eventually renaming that Vista too.

M$ shareholders don't need to know about this, they only have to know about Steve Jobs health.

This is a well known and almost official thing. Everybody knows that XP's are sold as Vista since the begenning. Why does this come up again now? Maybe just to shut M$'s mouth with their new lying "experience"?!

I have those types of cracks in many spots of my Late 2004 iBook G4. I don't care really since it's over 3 years old. But not on a new phone thats only been around for less than a month.



I liked the old metal case better. I wonder if Steve Jobs upgraded to the 3G iPhone???

Probably never happen. That might cause the MS stock to plummet. That could be bad for all of those that have millions invested in MS. Good propaganda is good PR.

MS will continue to be propped up until even life-support won't keep it breathing. But by then big investor money will pull the plug.

If you have MS stock - I suggest you sell it now.

Talk to your SEP/IRA investment person. They are heavily invested in MS more than likely if you have any Tech stock.
