Seriously, put those desktop-class processor to use, Apple... right now you're only using the mobile and server ones. That alone should tell you that something is missing.

Meanwhile, Menlow - Hill County, TX, USA is 4,763 miles away from where I grew up in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, UK. (according to Google Earth).

I'm with you, Vlad. I would have expected a Mac mini-tower two years ago when Parallels, Fusion, and Boot Camp began vying for the Windows crowd. Obviously, no mini-tower materialized.

Apple might have concluded that a mini-tower would cannibalize iMac sales and would compete with Cinema monitor sales. Or, there may be less than two-hundred other people on planet Earth that have the same desire to own a Mac mini-tower and Apple has no interest in designing and marketing a mini-tower owing to lack of any real consumer support.

If there is no mini-tower revealed or promised at Macworld Expo next week I will conclude that I will replace my aging G3 iMac with another iMac - and learn to love it.

having a consumer tower would compete directly with the iMac. As long as the iMac is around they will not develop a consumer tower, Im sick of people saying its coming out because it isnt. GET OVER IT!!!!!
