My WiFi is much better now too, and I don't even own an iPhone!

and Leon is getting laaaaaarger!

It improved the WiFi reception on my MacBook AND on my Palm PDA.

I am thinking that maybe it is actually improving the WiFi transmitting and receiving power on all the wireless routers, not the iPhone itself.

My red snapper is picking up Radio Moscow from 1952 and it doesn't itch or feel swollen any more. Is that significant?

I have noticed absolutely no Wi-Fi reception difference at all between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, it appears to merely be a placebo effect here. Restarting the device (forced by the update) likely accounts for any minor differences that these individuals noticed.

What 1.0.2 actually did fix however was the white balance issue many were having with the built-in camera. Side by side comparisons of photos taken before and after the update are dramatically improved.

Just reading about this makes me feel schnappier. Thanks, Apple!

my keyboard has been typing much faster after this release, also noticed it to be a bit more scratch resistant after upgrading to 1.0.2.

since updating my zune with the new update I have had better success syncing it with my itunes.

That's strange, because I was going to say that my keyboard has gotten a lot slower. It's really noticeable and somewhat annoying.

Since the update, my vah-jay-jay has topped itching.

I'd say the reception is better. I was setting up a co-worker's iBook (he got used for $300), and he had a full signal showing on his Airport, and my iPhone had about 1/2 signal. Now, the same spot, the iPhone is getting full signal now.

Oh noes.... my iPhone just crashed and demanded that I restore all the software and start from the beginning, instead of allowing me to decide on the update.

I had this pain at the back of my knees for quite some time. I don't know how I got it but it's been bugging me for awhile. I had to stop the treadmill at the gym and all other running/joggin activities. Leisurely strolls were difficult if not impossible. My doctor said it was a form of vascular disease and my legs, both, may need to be amputated just above the knee. It's really strange, after the iPhone update, the pain seems to have disappeared! Running and jogging are enjoyable again. Thanks Apple, for that wonderful update. It's changed my life!

I agree that the ringtone options are pretty sparse on the iPhone, but... considering the closed nature of the iPhone software, which we've never had any illusions about, wouldn't you expect hacks to be cleaned up like this?
I'm not saying it's right - but it doesn't particularly surprise me at all.

I'm finally getting great reception now inside my cell in a Turkish prison! And even better I'm seeing fewer artifacts on the Video portion when watching "Sparticus"!

My Long John has been nothing but a Limp Bizkit. I can't even get my wanker to rise and shine, Even Viagra was just not doing the trick.. Had so many women laugh at my peter til I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The iPhone Update 1.0.2 really knocked the the compettition right out of the water! I'm now going at it 8 hours straight! the women can't keep up with me! I even won the contest for the fastest fsck in my local barnyard! I outdid a wee willy rabbit by a mile! Thanks Apple! You saved my life!
