Jim Cramer: Apple will report earnings that will blow your socks off
Monday, July 13, 2009 - 09:04 AM EST

Apple Online Store During his "Stop Trading!" TV segment for CNBC on Friday, July 10, Jim Cramer predicted, "Apple will report a number that will 'blow your socks off.'"

Apple is due to report the financial results of their third fiscal quarter after market close on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at approximately 4:30pm EDT.

Analysts' consensus estimates currently call for Apple to report $1.16 EPS on $8.16 billion in revenue. On April 22, 2009, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer guided for "revenue in the range of about $7.7 billion to $7.9 billion" and "diluted earnings per share in the range of about $.95 to $1.00."

This exact same story did the rounds in March, with different suppliers named. Maybe every time one of them spills the beans Apple drop that supplier and moves on.

Is Cramer up to his old tricks trying to pump the stock before Apple reports good but not SUPER GREAT earnings???

Cramer is a TV character and not a real life person... They scanned him in years ago and now he is a digitized cartoon that does what ever the editors say to do. Just a thought. grin

What recession? I was at the apple store last week and it was a zoo, and the line to get the 3GS was all the way down the hall (it was inside a mall). You would think it was launch day!

I'd bet on Cramer this time. And I bet the next quarter will blow out this one.

@splooge:

Apple is amazing. They now have the power to create their OWN economy. The video showing the lines from the iPhone launch in Singapore is stunning!

Go Apple!

Peace.

I'm sure the numbers will be phenomenal and sure that some numb skull analyst will forecast their demise and the stock will drop. They have a magic money machine with the iPhone. As their sales escalate, so will their short term and long term residual earnings.

Jul 13, 09 - 02:49 pm Comment from: Steven - Nice Specifics

Yeah, that's a big stretch, and I love how he sites no numbers, none. I mean really, give us something tangible Mr. Crammer so we can gauge what you mean by "socks!"

He gives us nothing, nothing, so he can't be held accountable for any of his predictions. He is really horrible if anyone takes him seriously, or does not doubt his motivations. Those who drink from his cup, woe to those...

Jim Cramer is a business analyst entertainer, not to be taken seriously.

Jim Cramer proves how desperate CNBC is to fill "air" time. They let any ole incompetent idiot on.
