Net Applications’ Browser and Operating System market share stats ‘under review’ for June
Monday, July 06, 2009 - 09:23 AM EST

Net Applications' Browser and Operating System market share stats for June remain under review.

Along with highlighting the rise of Apple's iPhone and iPod touch platform over the past few years, the stats have shown clear trends of the awakening of the general personal computing public, with Mac OS X, Safari, and Firefox taking share from Microsoft's Windows and Internet Explorer.

Net Applications' Market Share site states:

We are investigating some significant variations in browser and operating system statistics. The reports will not be available until we complete our review.

"Awakening" of the public huh. They're finally getting unplugged from the Microsoft Matrix!

Someone new to the stats are gaming the system. Who could that be?

Well, thank you for sparing us before the job is done.

They had a phone call from one of their sponsors in Seattle…

Microsoft has done their homework and it's paying off. The following are undeniably striking a chord with consumers: 1) 'Laptop Hunters' ads are resonating with prospective buyers, 2) the innovative Zune exposes clear flaws in MAC's half-baked I-Pod/I-Phone strategy, and 3) once you go Vista you never go back.

What you blinded-by-shiny-logos MAC sheep fail to realize is the public won't be fooled by MAC's marketing shenanigans any longer. The emperor in Cupertino has no clothes. I expect market share stats to remain dismal for the sissies who can't figure out to use something simple like Windows. Dorks.

Your potential. Our passion.™

Ditto on tipping point

I actually think they are looking into a sudden increase in Winblows and IE share. I wouldn't put it past M$ to set up server farms just to increase their OS and browser shares.

Zune Tang's right. To stop Windows, just push the 'Start' button. What could be simpler and more intuitive than that?

Zune Tang is also right about: once you go to Vista you never go back.

That's because you hang yourself to end the pain and agony.
