Analyst: Apple’s actual revenue to blow past guidance this quarter
Friday, March 12, 2010 - 11:23 PM EST"Majestic Research analyst Tony Berkman believes Q2 revenues will be at least ten percent higher than the company's projection of $11 billion to $11.4 billion," MacNN reports.
"iPhone demand is said to be particularly strong in the UK, Japan and China," MacNN reports. "While the Street forecasts average 6.95 million units, Berkman expects the actual outcome to sit closer to 9.1 million. In comparison, December sales were just 8.7 million units."
MacNN reports, "Majestic expects the Touch to help drive unit sales past 11 million and average selling price (ASP) up to $162. The forecast places Mac sales at 3 million units, with an ASP of $1,251."
