I like that at a glance I can see my email and news feeds from one location. It's nothing fancy, but it works.

I've used NewsFire for years and love it. Couldn't get used to Mail's way of checking news. Couldn't bring myself to using NetNewsWire either since I had already paid for NewsFire. But I suppose it'll be worth at least checking out NNW now.

Safari for me... accumulated folders of RSS bookmarks in the toolbar - easy to open en masse or in tabs.

I love this reader! I've used Google Reader and NetVibes, both very serviceable, but this one puts the reader on your desktop and works very very fast and very mac-like. Woo hoo. And I haven't even figured out how to integrate with my Mac Mail, Address Book, iCal yet!!

If you like rss readers and you've got a mac, you must try this!

Don't all modern browsers already do RSS?
What's the point of this and why would anyone have paid for it?

This is amazing that they're putting this app out there for free. It's a wonderful application, and I gladly paid $30 for it about a year ago. Kudos to them of course, but I don't quite understand why.

I just don't trust a commercially-backed app like that... A great open-source/free alternative is Vienna. GIve it a shot!

I've been happy with news.google.com. I have a couple custom news searches setup for NASA stuff my alma matter and of course all things Apple.

P.S. - Speaking of NASA, does anyone know what type of OS the Mars Rovers have been using?
