I was very much impressed by this commercial. It will go a long way for both Nike and Apple.

I like the use of a treadmill which ties in to the original video for the song.

Here we go, baby... yeah!

Dec 18, 06 - 09:04 am Comment from: No Irony

I thought the commercial was not very effective. particularly the low quality of the video and the way it abruptly ends, with a You-Tube logo..

I mean what are they trying to advertise? Nike+ or You Tube?

Very poor. I can't see that helping the sales very much.

I like the idea, and what they're getting at.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:09 am Comment from: bruce

No Irony: Have you not seen the commercial on TV? There is no YouTube logo at the end. The YouTube logo is on display here because the video is made available via a YouTube player.

I have to disagree, I think the ad is very striking and attention getting.

Troisième? Je suis trop lent.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:22 am Comment from: Irish Dude

Good ad, I like it.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:25 am Comment from: M

No Irony is right. The You Tube element is very distracting. I wish Nike just stuck to the Sport Kit without the You Tube stuff in the commercial. A lot of TV viewers will be confused. Otherwise, great ad.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:28 am Comment from: Mixed feelings

Actually, I got rather sick of this ad watching it every single commercial break during the various football games I watched yesterday. If I had a Wii controller, I might have thrown it at my TV in disgust.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:32 am Comment from: Charles

That's the short version of the commercial, the longer 60 second version is much better.

Dec 18, 06 - 09:33 am Comment from: bruce

Wow, does no one pay attention. The YouTube logo is not in the ad on TV. It's present here b/c a YouTube player is being used.

Dec 18, 06 - 10:15 am Comment from: DJ

Like that as it gives an inkling of what the product actually does.

When the big spends is over and paid for, I might treat myself...

Dec 18, 06 - 10:20 am Comment from: Andy C.

LOL, some people are so dumb.

Dec 18, 06 - 10:28 am Comment from: Dev Singh

@ No Irony ; you really dobn´t get it do you ?? (or, ehhh maybe you do )

Dec 18, 06 - 12:20 pm Comment from: PorradaVFR

Man that guy must run fast...he hits one mile like 0:30 into the song. wink

Dec 18, 06 - 12:39 pm Comment from: Cubert

I saw it all over the Eagles game yesterday (while the Eagles were all over the Giants!)

Go Birds!!!

And, more importantly, GO BENGALS!!!
Peyton, you're going down!

These commercials need to be in the Super Bowl.
