Orange in discussions with Apple to sell iPhone in Spain, Poland, other countries

According to a report from Thomson Financial, France Telecom's Orange is "in discussions" with Apple Inc. to sell the iPhone outside France, where it has distributed it since
November.

CFO Gervais Pellissier said the company is in talks with Apple, in particular with regard to Spain and Poland "among others."

Good news! Considering that Orange even got subsidiaries companies in Africa (in countries like Ivory Coast) + what you heard yesterday from Vodafone + the internationalized SDK release... then it's easy to figure out that iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 will be massively rolled out worldwide with a whole bunch of applications to go with it, and the involvement of an army of developers all over the world.

The plateform is ready to take off... game over for the competition;-)
