Piper Jaffray: Apple’s Mac, iPhone, and iPod sales expected to do okay in holiday quarter
Monday, November 17, 2008 - 03:14 PM EST "Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster unveiled his latest read on Apple demand Monday and reckons that the company will see iPhone December quarter sales to fall about 5 percent to 15 percent from the September quarter. Meanwhile, demand is 'healthy' for the latest MacBooks," Larry Dignan reports for Seeking Alpha."Munster and his team frequently spends time in Apple stores trying to get a read on demand," Dignan reports. "Here’s what he found after 25 hours in Apple’s stores."

And, Munster also foresees, "18.5 million to 19 million iPods, down 14%-16% year-over-year, and beating the Street's expected 18.6 million," according Dan Frommer's report for Fortune here.

I assume that as more countries start selling Apple products and services there is even more up side to their guess. And you have to love those really bad Dell and Microsoft TV adds.
