Thursday, July 05, 2007 - 01:43 PM EST

In response to several MacDailyNews and iPodDailyNews readers:

Apple's iPhone TV commercials feature the music of Orba Squara from their album "Sunshyness".

The track is "Perfect Timing (This Morning)" and runs 3:32.

You can buy it via iTunes for 99-cents here: Orba Squara - Sunshyness - Perfect Timing (This Morning)

Ha, MDN does anything to get money with these linkshare stuff. I refuse to use it MDN! I will use my own linkshare link grin.

And your complaining because you send them money to support the cost of maintaing the website? Obv. at some point something was interesting and you feel it should be totally free perhaps like MSNBC or CNN riddled with commercials.

What MDN NEEDS to do is fugure out a way to check your DOB and block ages 10 and under.

Awesome!

I think it's great that Apple used a song from an independent band on an indie label!

Jul 05, 07 - 01:40 pm Comment from: montex

The song has lyrics. I'd prefer the instrumental only version if there is one.

Montex,

Get out Logic Pro and have at it....

Thank you! I was hoping I could find that music.

o.k. MDN needs another website, or a name change to IpDN. Worth reading never the less.

Jul 05, 07 - 03:25 pm Comment from: Lt. Dan

I thought the music was from "Forrest Gump 2.0"

Stupid is as stupid does.

Ok. It's all great news, but doesn't anyone think we've all gone over the edge (no pun intended) just a bit here?

I mean people were gushing over David Pogue's clever but not exactly awe inspiring iPhone finger tip.

"iPhone finger tip."

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!!! IT'S MINE! MINE! MINE!

off to go daddy!

Jul 05, 07 - 05:29 pm Comment from: theloniousMac

oh darn.
it's already on their website.

some day I'll think of something clever AND original.

@AshNazg

Oh yeah. I'll just drop $1K on Logic Pro so I can filter out lyrics on a single track. Durrrr

I am glad they used an indie band like that too. I didn't even know the song has lyrics until tow. I like it even better now! actually a lot of good songs on the album.

what if you want to play movies, TV shows, movie trailers, podcasts, photos, and YouTube videos from your computer on your

TV? In 40GB and new 160GB models starting at $299, Apple TV brings iTunes and more to the big screen.
