Why would Apple choose a diner in Truckee, CA as a place to "show us as a hip and cool spot for the 20-something crowd" ? I grew up near Truckee, and I love the town and the area, but the only 20-somethings who hang around in Truckee are ski bums stopping to get gas on their way to Lake Tahoe.

If they are shooting an ad for something, it must be ready for release. Whether that "something" is a tablet computer remains to be seen. It could just be the new (iPhone 3GS) version of the iPod touch. Every new version of the iPod touch has been released in September, I believe.

WRONG! They are trying to show APPLE's product as hip and cool for the 20-something crowd. Apple's advertising company has no interest in Jax at the Tracks, except as a backdrop for their message.
