Fake Fake, Spanish April Fools Day

I'm not so sure that this would be a good move on Apple's part. Maybe because I still have nightmares about the eWorld fiasco, but it's possible that their experiences with .Mac and iTMS have made them more confident in their ability to deliver services.

We need to find out if Mr. Slope is who he says he is and if so, how did his name and title escape Apple-centric sites. Also, Apple execs rarely talk about future products or services.

This would be conceiveable/interesting were apple to join an established carrier in an alliance - but no way would or could Apple compete with T-Mobile, Cingular (AT+T), et. al.

That very good but one problem and that is that will apple have enough towers to stay connected. That a major problem when you on the go. The signal always fade in and out and that is, not enough towers to catch the signals.

Jeeeze people...read the associated links for foreigners and you'd see it's a fake.

Read the first post people! MDN needs to stop propagating this bullcrap. Today is Spanish "April Fools," for lack of a better term. If you'd click the two links at the referred site as asked, you'll see for yourself.

One of the most aged traditions of these navideños days is the one of the inocentadas ones. A somewhat gross tradition: if we stopped ourselves to think it, which commemorates the 28 of December is the slaughter of the innocents ordered by king Herodes, and, the truth, that to celebrate the anniversary of a savagery with jokes and cachondeo does not seem most correct. But good, the tradition is the tradition, so the habitual thing is that in this day the televisions, the radio transmitters and the newspapers intermingle the news with which another inocentada.

I could have told you that this was fake after just reading the MDN synopsis... Apple Execs NEVER (I repeat: NEVER EVER) talk about future products. Any "news" story where they claim to have talked to an Apple Exec or a story where an exec tells them something is automatically false.

Apple does not do this at all. It would spell failure in any endeavor they try.

Not to mention that this is the most far out rumor I've ever heard...
