RUMOR: Apple preps next-gen Apple iMacs for August 7th release
Wednesday, July 18, 2007 - 08:29 AM EST "Reliable sources have zeroed in further on the release date for Apple's revamped iMac since our last report, pointing to an announcement on August 7," Think Secret reports.Full article - also with iWork rumors - here.
MacDailyNews Note: This report tracks closely with other iMac rumors we've read and heard: 20- and 24-inch models, no 17-inch, more vertical symmetry with screen placement (no large blank space at the bottom of the screen as with today's models), and topping out with a 2.4GHz Santa Rosa processor. The new iMacs sound like they will be a significant upgrade of an already excellent, highly-regarded desktop.
