this is the time to buy, not when it was $200, and in 6-9 months it will be back up there....

Apple TV (HD) is one thing . . . but where is the whole monty? Even beleaguered Dull makes a huge widescreen TV (doesn't it?), so where is Apple's? More TV's will be sold this year than any other in history (as we all upgrade to digital), so isn't a 42" from Apple the logical product release?

At the start of the Macworld conference, before Steve Jobs' keynote, they showed a Mac & PC commercial where Mac asks PC at the end of the clip what he'll be doing in the next year?
PC says everything that Mac's been doing.

Now I realise that that could be Apples latest joke at M$'s expense, ridiculing their attempts to copy OSX (and failing miserably); or is it a subtle clue as to future plans to license OSX to the 'other' PC vendors?

Everyone agrees Vistas' a steaming pile of crap – wouldn't the timing be perfect for Apple to get all the other PC manufacturers to jump ship and pre-install the Mac OS on their boxes? (Even if it's only offered as an option?

Of course it's the SDK, and probably some Apps to go with it.

It's a whole new market... the return of the Newton, though of course it wont be called that. The Touch is already being called a Wifi Enabled Device... it is no longer marketed as merely an iPod.
A $500 iPod costs too much, but a $500 PDA? That doesn't sound quite as silly.

Why would that need a press release though? ...For the additional hardware that will be announced at the same time.

Honestly, I don't care much about a tablet. If anyone were to change my mind though, I'm sure it would be Apple.

I'm hoping for a new Mac Book Pro update. I'd like to see Penryn, multi-touch, and a holosuite.

With all the fixes pending in the 10.5.2 update, Apple has decided to release it as 10.6.0 instead.

Apple will be announcing a $200 price cut on the 16Gb iPhone and drop the 8Gb one. And when everyone comes complaining this time, they'll say we shoulda seen it coming.
