Today, TIME Magazine lists the 50 Best iPhone Apps for 2011 writing that these are the “apps you don’t want to be without.”
From Games, On-The-Go, Lifestyle, Music & Photography, Entertainment and Social apps, each app has a description about why it is one of the best according to TIME writers and editors.
While the apps are not ranked, popular apps such as Angry Birds, Epicurious, Twitter, Facebook, Kindle and more are highlighted by TIME’s list.
See the explanations in the full article here.
Yawn. Angry Birds, Facebook… the Pet Rocks of our generation…
Note the difference of two things on the page:
“50 Best iPhone Apps 2011”
vs
“50 Windows Phone 7 Apps” ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
I, for one, enjoy these lists and the posts that follow with everyones’ 2 cents.
Ready, set, go!
I assume the 50 best Android apps include 40 wallpapers and some ad-supported games?

On the same page, Time also list 50 Windows Phone 7 Apps.
Windows Phone 07 has 50 apps?
What! No MDN app?!?!?
Rigged I tell you, it’s rigged!!!
Wurdle is nothing more that a take on Boggle, which is also available on the iPhone and a killer app on the iPad.
Now, if we can just convince Parker Brothers and EA to add a Klingon version to iOS Boggle . . .
@ The Other Steve
If like me you’re in your 60’s you’ll remember Parker (and licenced here in the uk to Waddingtons) making a brilliant board game called “Rich Uncle” which was far more entertaining than Monopoly.
Now if only EA Games would recreate Rich Uncle for the IPhone/iPad I for one would be a happy teenager again.
Kindle??? HAHAHAHA WTF LOL???
I’m waiting for my favorite board game of all time to be an app – Dealer McDope. C’mon on guys, what’s taking so long?
