It’s nice to see conservatives like Karl using Macs. I go back to the beginning of Macs. I remember a TV advertisement Apple had shortly after the LaserWriter was introduced. If featured two guys on an airplane. An overweight, 60-ish-year-old fart was looking at this younger guy’s printed presentation. Nice pie charts, bold horizontal rules.

At that time, Macs had a counter-culture aspect to them. So they had the old fart wearing a three-piece as I recall. I later read that apple VERY carefully cast the younger fellow, all the way down to his front teeth (some slightly buck-toothed Busey’s). An unassuming, underdog look.

And now we Mac users have conservative icons like Karl Rove using Apple products.

This is nothing but good.
